(Translation) August 13, 2009 Subject : Company performance for the second quarter 2009 Attention : Director and Manager of the Stock Exchange of Thailand Thanulux Public Company Limited would like to inform the performance of the company as stated in the second quarter and the first six months as of June 30, 2009 as below: - Baht 414.73 million sale revenue of the company and its subsidiaries of the second quarter 2009 decreased from the same quarter last year by Baht 106.46 million or (20.43%),net profit of Baht 51.92 million decreased from the same quarter last year by Baht 3.53 million or (6.36%). - Baht 883.68 million sale revenue of the company and its subsidiaries of the first six months 2009 decreased from the same period last year by Baht 140.89 million or (13.75%), net profit of Baht 93.91 million decreased from the same period last year by Baht 43.89 million or (31.85%) because of : 1. Export sales revenue of the first six months 2009 decreased Baht 192.74 million or (39.06%) compared to same period last year which have been the significantly affected by the economic slowdown conditions. 2. Dividend received of the first six months 2009 decreased Baht 4.39 million or (9.88%) compared to same period last year. 3. Royalty expenses of the first six months 2009 increased Baht 3.95 million or 10.59% compared to same period last year, variable according to the increasing of local sale.
