(Translation) May 12, 2000 Subject : Company's performance for the first quarter in 2000 Attention : Director and Manager of The Stock Exchange of Thailand Thanulux Public Company Limited would like to inform the performance as shown in the financial statement for the first quarter in 2000. The company's net profit, the same period of time, was different more than 20% from last year. Net profit in 2000 was Baht 46.96 million, net profit in 1999 was Baht 29.45 million. It increased Baht 17.51 million from last year or was equal to 59.46%. The increased sale of the first quarter and consulting fees had pushed the profit higher.
