(Translation) Subject : Companys performance in 1998 Thanulux Public Company Limited would like to inform the performance as shown in the financial statement in 1998. The companys net profit for the same period of time, was different more than 20% from last year. Net loss in 1997 was Baht 56.53 million, net profit in 1998 was Baht 152.35 million. Baht 208.87 million was increased from last year or was equal to 369.52%. The explanation of the increment of profit are as followings :- In 1998, the company gained Baht 42.53 million from foreign exchange. In 1997, the company got Baht 151.83 million loss from foreign exchange, so the company gained Baht 194.36 million more from foreign exchange. The value of Baht was stronger when compareed with Baht as of 31 December 1997.
