(Translation) Subject : Companys performance for the third quater in 1998 Thanulux Public Company Limited would like to inform the performance as shown in the financial statement for 9 months period in 1998. The companys net profit for the same period of time, was different more than 20% from last year. Net loss in 1997 was Baht 23.22 million, net profit in 1998 was Baht 131.38 million. Increased Baht 154.60 million from last year or was equal to 665.81%. The explanation of the increment of profit are as followings :- The company gained Baht 26.87 million in the currency exchange for 9 months period in 1998 which was Baht 116.67 million more than the same period in 1997. The Baht as of the end of the third quarter in 1998 was stronger than it was on December 31, 1997. It was because of Baht was stronger than it was on December 31, 1997.
