(Translation) Form 57 (Y2K) Report on the Preparation to Solve the Anticipated Problems with the Coming of the Year 2000 Thanulux Public Company Limiteds main business is concerned with the textile industry and clothing. This is the second report on the preparations being made to solve anticipated problems with the coming of the Year 2000. The information included in this report was finalized on September 30th, 1998. 1. The Companys Recent Problem Solving Operation 1.1 The company has already completed a report on its computer systems currently in use, both hardware and software. 1.2 The company has completed tests on all computer equipment to ensure that it will be fully operational in the Year 2000. In addition, the company has contacted the manufacturers and suppliers to issue certificates. Approximately 90% of this has been completed so far. 1.3 With regard to the Embedded System equipment, the company has made an inspection and found that some equipment may not be categorized as Embedded System Equipment. The company has, therefore, asked the manufacturers or suppliers to issue certificates for it. 1.4 The company has acquired the Service Pack & Fixed Program to solve software problems and has again tested the outcome. 1.5 The company is in the process of installing an inventory system. 1.6 The company is installing an accounting system. 1.7 The company is currently revising the operating systems it has developed. 2. The Analysis and Explanation of the Administrator With regard to the operation to solve the problems of the Year 2000, the company has successfully carried out its plans and has not encountered any obstacles that might have caused the company to change its plans. The operation team has received considerable cooperation from all the parties involved, including that of the suppliers and trade partners of the company. We hereby certify that we have checked the statements and information included in this report and guarantee that all the statements and information are accurate and complet, not misleading, and no important information, which may cause damage to the shareholders or buyers, is missing.
