LARIFIES FOR Q2/1997 RESULT

Thanulux Plc reports in its Q2/1997 financial statements saying that
it has ashrinking earning of more than 20 percent over the same period of
last year.
TNL attributes a plunging sales of its products by 34.21 percent or
Bt119.6 million to the continued sluggish economy.
